All year round vacationing is rarely found at ski resorts. Typically there is a winter season that offers the best possible travel option for visitors, but rarely do they offer much in the way of entertainment in the summer months. Deer Valley Resort is a ski resort with a difference; it offers non-stop activity all year round, winter and summer.

They provide an exceptional level of customer service and it is the commitment to this which makes summer fun just as engaging as the winter time. In the summer months you are able to enjoy lift-served hiking, 55 miles of mountain biking trails, national and local mountain biking races, scenic chair-lift rides, the Park City Jazz Festival, a free locals Summer Concert series, performances by the Utah Symphony and Opera and a whole multitude of other musical entertainment. During the summer months, Deer Valley accommodation packages are exceptionally economical and options include private homes, Deer Valley condos, and lodges. There is also a limited amount of Deer Valley hotel type accommodations available for those visitors who prefer to be catered for in a hotel environment.

The Summer Adventure camp and Deer Valley Academy preschool provides care and activities for all youngsters aged from two months to twelve years. This means that older children and adults will be free to pursue the adventures of their choice at Deer Valley Resort. The accommodations at Deer Valley Resort are all individually managed by property management companies. There are central reservations booking companies as well as websites which allow you to search property managers and contact them directly. Contacting the property manager directly will often result in the best deal.

Each property management company has different seasonal rates, although the majority agree that peak season is from December 21 to January 6 and the second week in February through the end of March. The summer value season is from mid April through November with a few higher priced dates in the peak of summer.

Although summer is great at Deer Valley, winter really has some gifts in store for you. The resort is well known for having revolutionized the ski resort industry when it changed its approach to service more than 27 years ago. This was when Deer Valley became North America’s first ski resort to provide the same kind of service as that of a first class hotel.

Amenities during the winter months are of the highest possible standard. Deer Valley offers guests ski valets, lessons in an award winning ski school, ski runs groomed to perfection, rental equipment and much more. The combination of a high standard of customer service and attention to the finer details makes this resort a favorite choice for all year-round vacationers. Deer Valley has a long list of highly acclaimed awards to its name, including host to slalom, aerial, and mogul events at the 2002 the Winter Olympic Games.

Winter time is not only a favorite time for skiers. Deer Valley also operates Summit Meadows snowmobile tours for snowmobile enthusiasts as well as skiers looking for something a little different during this time of year. There are 7,000 acres of snowmobiling territory to take advantage of and explore. And during the summer months you can add horseback riding, water sports, boating, national and local mountain bike racing and golf into the itinerary.
