Looking For Somewhere To Go For Spring Break? Here are our Top Five Beach Destinations

Spring Break is the perfect time to let loose and get rid of the stress of studying by heading out to any one of many great destinations known for their lovely beaches. Understandably with the economy the way it is travel to some of the more expensive islands may be out of financial reach.

However, I still have five amazing beaches that college students can make reservations for now and look forward to several days of sun and sand without breaking the bank.

* One of the most well known destinations is Ft. Lauderdale. While Florida itself has undergone some changes throughout the years, Ft. Lauderdale is still definitely affordable for people on a budget and ranks one of the top spring break destinations.

* Acapulco also tops the list for popular destinations, especially for college students. You can usually find travel packages that help make this destination affordable as well as trendy.

* Unfortunately while Bermuda has always been at the top of the spring break list it is also somewhat pricey. Fortunately nearby Aruba is a wonderful alternative destination with amazing beaches, friendly people, and fantastic weather. One more bonus is that all Aruba hotels are located on the beach, unlike Bermuda.

* Another consideration is the Bahamas as it offers affordable accommodations and fabulous beaches.

* Finally, for an all-inclusive package to either “nowhere” or from Florida to the Bahamas, cruises have become highly touted as the best possible vacation venue for most college students.

Safety is an important consideration, especially if you plan to travel to Mexico. In popular resort areas such as Cancun crime has risen exponentially and the United States advises against traveling there. Fortunately Acapulco is the exception.

There is one other destination you may wish to consider: Panama City Beach. It has become a thriving Spring break destination. With beach parties, clubs, and pubs, this is one area college students may opt for as a last “resort.”

If you are looking to relax and unwind with your friends in a great atmosphere any of the above destinations will definitely meet your needs. Don?t forget to book early for the best deals and a guaranteed spot. Some of the best deals can be found using the internet or your personal travel agent.
