Cabo San Lucas is world renowned to be a booming vacation spot and not just because of its natural beauty but also of the many luxuries and recreation in the place. As this Mexican destination has picturesque beauty to boast, it has also become an ideal place for golfers.

The first golf course constructed in Cabo San Lucas is a championship golf course designed by the famous golfer Jack Niclaus. It was put up in the 1990s in the luxurious Palmilla Resort in Cabo and it was elegantly designed for championship golf matches.

This first golf course has attracted more and more tourists and golfers to Cabo San Lucas and it also led to the construction of many other golf courses in the area. Jack Niclaus designed two other golf courses in Cabo that was later recognized as among the best in the world.

Golf courses in Cabo have now numbered to six grand golf courses and two belonged to Golf Digest’s list of the world’s best golf courses. These two are the Golf Cabo del Sol Ocean Course and Golf Cabo del Sol Desert Course - also considered as the best golf course in Cabo.

Other golf courses in Cabo, which are also equally beautiful, are the 18-hole golf courses that include the Raven and the Cabo Real Golf Club, the Querencia Golf Courses, El Dorado and the 9-hole golf course at the Mayan Country Club.

Cabo del Sol’s Ocean Course is not only consistent in the list of the world’s best golf courses but also got a place in the 500 Best Holes in the World for its fifth and seventeenth holes.

The first-class golf courses in Cabo San Lucas would surely amaze golfing enthusiasts and newbies as well. These expertly designed courses are truly ideal for those who are seeking the challenge. If you are a beginner of the sport, you have wide choices too when it comes to golf courses.
