Cabo San Lucas Whale Watching

Cabo San Lucas in Mexico is truly a great place for vacationers who want to relax and experience different water adventures like whale watching. Whale watching would truly make an exciting adventure in Cabo.

To spot whales in the ocean, you must first look for any spouting, the visible exhaling of whales, since this indicates that there’s a whale or school of whales nearby. If you’re lucky you can get to see whales breaching.

Breaching is the leaping of whales almost completely out of the water and then falls down to make a big splash. It’s a very spectacular sight. You can also enjoy touching a whale when they do spyhopping, where they push themselves up and out of the water until he can see the surroundings including you.

Unfortunately, you can only get to do whale watching from January to March. They migrate during the autumn season from Bering and Chukchi Seas between Alaska and Serbia.

In Magdalena Bay, you can have whale-watching tours where you can see mothers and their calves first hand. You get to interact with whales up close and personal in an extremely calm and protected area.
